  • My potential tasks in SAP-Projects:
  • Project lead
  • in all kinds of project phases like feasibility studies, process re-design, customisation, testing, support. This includes all due project administration tasks like time and budget control, ressourcing, etc.

  • Consulting and Customisation
  • Relevant modules are PP and MRP, SD, LE and WM, MM, SCM, CRM. My project experience in each of these modules covers at least two project cycles.

  • Training of end users consultants
  • End user training and end user documentation. Training and preparation of consultants in order to reach certification level. Based on existing project results new documents for training, process documentation and integration tests can be edited for many companies in a short time.

  • Feasibility Studies
  • More than 15 feasibility studies in various industries and company sizes ( 200 - 5000 employees) in order to achieve clear estimates of project tasks, plan, training demand, potential organisational changes and budget. These studies range from a quick one week scope study until a 4 months in depth project analysis.

  • 2014Consultant Variant Configuration
  • to re-organise all concrete product master data at Australia's second largest concrete manufacturer. Some 10,000's of material ID's plus bills of materials representing different concrete mixes were converted to exactly 1 material ID and 1 dynamic bill of materials assigned to all plants. Bills of materials are calculated dynamically in an ABAP program based on dozens of product characteristics; and a variant rule framework integrates the results into SAP sales documents, pricing, costing, MRP, interfaces to production facilities and test laboratories. Comprehensive BI and simulation transactions will allow constant product optimisation.

  • 2009Integration Manager
  • to implement ECC6 IS Mills at Australia's second largest cement manufacturer. 2 subsequent rollouts in South and West Australia were to organise in a tight time frame. The specific challenge of the project was the integration of some interfaces creating all documents like sales order, delivery, invoice based on some lean weighbridge information and the mostly automatic freight cost settlement via ERS.

  • 2003Project lead
  • to implement sales processes in 12 german locations for some 450 employees in an electronics company. The project covered all sales processes including special processes like complaints and repair for a huge variety of products (order-to-engineer, variants, spare parts). Many orders were transferred via EDI/ALE to factories or the national distribution center.
Published in SAP Info focusing on the variant configuration topics 2004.
